dede, my DH is used to it by now, been doing it for about 4 years  :o  I add the photo to the recipe on my laptop and then it gets 'filed' away in its relevant section.   ;D

Keep the photos coming girls!

Made cannelloni for the first time tonight, but the end result wouldn't have looked great on screen!  Had fun assembling all the components though and the cannelloni tasted great.
This was a real homegrown dish. My sons helped me with the pasta sheets.  My youngest made the pasta dough using TMX... and duck eggs.  Chooks have stopped laying  :)  This morning we picked tomatoes, basil, thyme and silverbeet for the sauce and filling.  I also used yogurt and ricotta made with goat milk from my last couple of milking sessions.  Very satisfying dish at all levels!

Tonight we had the "American Dream"

Short beef ribs, coleslaw, mixed salad, both with ranch dressing & baked potatoes.

It was absolutely yum.

Never had these ribs before (didnt even know about them until I bought a side of cow).

H :)

Carine our chooks aren't laying much at the moment. I get one egg a dy if I am lucky out of 10 chooks. However the I am getting at least 3 duck eggs a day. If I eat too many duck eggs I get really bad stomach aches (worse than labour) and therefore can't use them for quiches etc. They are fine in cakes etc.

Not much cooking here lately as I am too busy with dad and the business. Looking forward to a day at home cooking tomorrow. Hopefully I will find some cheap bananas and other fruit in Coffs today, so I can whip up some new delights.
Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate

Shame about the duck eggs.  I remember a friend telling me he could only have them in cakes too, as he had trouble digesting them when they weren't cook thouroughly  :-\

You might get a few mangoes from Coffs.  My hubby is working over there this week and our boys are sure to help him unpack his car when he comes back!

Not for dinner tonight, but last night made Chorizo and Balsamic Fettucine from Quick Fix in the Thermomix and also the Apple & Cinnamon pancakes for dessert.  The pancakes are in the breakfast section, but I made smaller sized ones and had with vanilla icecream - yummmmm!
