well because we are on the challenge we are using what we have in the cupboard. ol el passo fahijtas from their kit, bought ages ago & has just been sitting there. I know the tortillas will taste like cardboard.

Finally home and the tagine has just gone in the pressure cooker.  Thank goodness for my thermomix...I've taken some shortcuts with the recipe but I'm sure it will be edible....if not DH can go for a drive :)...I'm too tired tonight to care.

Made the 'fish curry with rice' from the forum here. It's actually such a lovely dish but I spoilt it a bit by using dried lemongrass (as I forgot to buy the fresh stuff) and it took longer than normal to cook as the fish fillets I bought were too big and thick. Hubby liked it regardless and will add to the 'make again' list.

Made two flans for supper used JB,s Spanish shortcuts pastry from on here. Used some 00 flour in mix and no sugar.

1) salmon and leek, 3 eggs milk and cream
2) onion and red pepper ( for DH who hates salmon), 3 eggs as per above.

Coleslaw/raw salad cross in TMX with 1 t mayo, and then oil and lemon juice as mayo ran out
Potato salad, sliced tomatoes and mozzarella slices, cooked fine green beans.

Made strawberry fool from dessert section on here.
Very yummy but added in more strawberry slices into the mix and on top.

Served with homemade shortbread biccies.

Made in Ken (the Kenwood ) with k beater to smooth strawbs as BOTH  *: bowls were in DW!!!

Enough leftovers of everything for lunch tmro yummy!

Hopefully meatloaf with BBQ sauce, mashed potatoes and veges. Hoping mince will defrost in time. Got enough mince to make a lasagna to freeze too.

Both kids are out for dinner tonight so I'll just be having some red curry chicken on my lonesome. One more gap in the freezer, yay!
