I made the tikka paste from the Indian cookbook last night so we are having the butter chicken, cumin rice and Bombay potatoes for dinner tonight.
They have all got fantastic reviews on here so I'm expecting big things!

I really liked the Bombay potatoes.
I am not a butter chicken fan but I cooked it as some of the little ones love butter chicken and They said it was yummy,
I had a taste and it was nice but just not my dish

Leftovers from last night for mum and SD.
I don't think it will matter what I have since I can't taste anything anyway

Amy assuming your cold has got worse. I'm a bit the same - a very blocked nose and can't really taste or smell anything.

Lasagna with home made pasta. the sauce was from leftovers in the fridge and a can of tomatoe soup that's been in the back of the cupboard for I don't know how long.

For the first time I made 'roast' beef in my pc. I used a piece of peppered beef roast (just under 900g).
I firstly heated just a little of oil in my pc, then sauteed a chopped onion, adding a chopped stick of celery and a chopped carrot and cooked until starting to soften.
Added a good pinch of dried thyme, gave it a good stir, then added 1 1/2 cups of home made beef stock and the cut up stem from the broccoli that I was steaming. Another stir, then put the trivet in place and placed the beef on top. Locked lid and cooked 15 mins because it wasn't a big piece and I was worried it would be overdone.
I released pressure using nrm and took out the meat. Cut it in half and thought it a bit too pink for me, so put it back in and brought back up to pressure and cooked for another 5 mins. Released using qrm. Removed meat and covered with alfoil.
I then poured out the stock and veg through a sieve into a saucepan pressing out as much of the liquid as I could from the veg. Put over high heat, added a good spoonful of plain flour and whisked in, brought to the boil and simmered for a min or so while I was getting everything else ready.
The meat was so nice, with just a hint of pink in the centre and very tender and the gravy had so much flavour.
Am so, so happy with how this turned out and know now to cook for about 20 mins for this sized roast. Will try lamb next time. Cooked roast potatoes and pumpkin, yorkshire puds, steamed carrots, broccoli and green beans to go with.
