Wow Astarra they must have really enjoyed it. I made shepherds pie with some left over roast lamb from DD's birthday and we all enjoyed.

They sure did!  ;D And I don't mind doing it again - love being able to have it all prepared earlier in the day and put in the oven on automatic so it is ready at dinnertime without any more work!  :D

Almond Chicken Curry from Tenina's Dinner Spinner.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Slow cooked spaghetti bog and Tenina's tomato soup. I didn't plan very well as it is two tomato based meals. Too bad.  8)

We had a quiche using shortcrust pastry from the EDC and Quinoa Salad from QFEO.

I went to check the reviews before making the salad but there weren't any. I was a bit disappointed with the large amount of liquid in the quinoa at the end. I didn't want to post my review in the right place as it would be the first review and if I give areas for improvement in reviews, I like to be doubly sure I've followed the recipe to the T! I might try it again tomorrow. Alyce suggests to soak the quinoa overnight, so I soaked it for about 8 hours and I think in that time, there was no more space for the liquid to be absorbed, leaving extra liquid in the TMX bowl....so next time (maybe even tomorrow) I'll try again without soaking the quinoa at all.
Any ideas?
