Dinner tonight - white fish fillets in garlic sauce with boiled potatoes and kumara, and steamed veg.  :)

Wonder, the liquid wants to come up 3/4 of the dish. Lid on until veg cooked, lid off to crisp potatoes.
I only added the salsa and tom purée, and butter beans as it was pork and DH not so keen on left over pork.
With lamb and beef usually only add carrots, onions, potatoes and sometimes swede.
However you know your families tastes and can adapt accordingly.

Or rissoles.... These will be next. I will add some apple.

Rissoles use any cold meat.

Mince in TMX.
Add some fried onion, breadcrumbs, s and p, and an egg to bind. Any herbs fresh or dries and seasoning according to meat species.

Shape into patties.
Egg and breadcrumbs, or just breadcrumbs.

Shallow fry, drain on paper.

Delicious, good luck wonder.

Oh that looks fabulous cookie.

This evening didn't go quite to plan so we had BBQ chicken with Quirky Jo's "fried" rice.

Meat in gravy from the freezer and smashed potatoes, might need to do a few veggies although I'm sure the kids won't mind if I don't.

Slow cooked oyster blade steaks, done in red wine and stock. It sounds nice so I hope it is.
