We had a BBQ at DS's house tonight.

Kids had leftover chicken, some salad and a small piece of Tenina's feta tart, I had feta tart and brown rice salad. Too hot to turn on the oven, so reheated the tart using my sandwich toaster thingy - worked a treat.
Freshly churned vanilla choc chip icecream for kids for dessert - too sweet for me!

Leftovers tonight but DH made the umami paste tonight and then the sausage and pork Ragu. Totally yummy!

Always seems nicer when you don't cook it yourself INAID 

I cooked a 2.5kg chook (so we can have leftovers for sandwiches tomorrow), wedges, garlic bread and steamed veg tonight.

INAID It looks simply scrummy. IIt's always good for DH to have a star dish so he can make dinner every once in a while

That does look nice.
Tonight I made KFC, but with turkey drumsticks. I finished them on the BBQ as it's too hot to put the oven on.


For dessert we had stawberry ripple and apricot ripple icecream
