Tonight we will be having beef stroganoff from the 12wbt challenge. Hope it's nice.
Day one today and so far so good!

It was DS's first day at school today (yes, I cried  :(), so we had a celebration special dinner.  I made dishes from the Nico Moretti class last week -  mojito cocktails (minus alcohol for the kiddies), foccacia, steamed spinach and ricotta gnudi with ragu di pomodoro.  It was all absolutely delicious!

Tonight's tea was one of those 'messy' salads - I used the leftover warm potato tuna salad from yesterday (cold) and I really enjoyed it presented like this.

Thanks Cookie, it was.  It looks huge but salads are healthy.

I made baf's chicken recipe. First time using my varoma. And it was a success. Ds2 and dh both loved the sauce, dh wipes his plate clean. Will definitely remember that one.

We're having roast lamb tonight. It is too hot but I will cook it in the Easy Cook in the laundry. I have book club tonight so I will eat late. Hopefully all the dishes will be done by the time I get home.
