What's for Dinner Tonight?

I did chook thigh cutlets in KFC mix (delicious) with Actifried potatoes and kumara, TM steamed veg and a lettuce salad.

Tonight we had oyster blade steak cooked up with lots of sliced onions for a couple of hours and veggies.

Do they bring you out in a rash Judy or just a fear of old fashioned cooking?  I still cook my veggies in a pot, most of the time. I find the varoma cumbersome to wash up.

Cookie, love ur sense of humour My ds14 and ds11 take turns to wash up after dinner. Mr always-in-trouble (the middle child, of course) asks me not to cook complicated food during his week. Sometimes I have wok, pot, thermomix and now airfryer out. Hahaha.

I try to wash up as I go..but there are still lots to do after dinner.

Cookie, I find the TMX does most things I want and once I get the air fryer, I probably won't be using the oven much either  I've given away one of my stockpots but still have a couple which are now in the linen press where most of my saucepans are.
I hate using my stove top, it means I generally have to clean it and the TMX is so easier to clean.  I don't have a problem with the varoma, I always cook my vegies in it and just rinse it in the sink rather than the dishwasher unless I've cooked meat in it.  I'm very pedantic the way I stack my dishwasher - I like things all nice and neat which means large items generally don't go in there.  I stacked DD's the other day, boy do I do it differently than her - she has 2 so doesn't need to be as neat as me to get more into it but I also think of the electricity usage as well and only run mine nowadays every 2-4 days depending on how long it takes to fill and how much cooking I've done. I just rinse the plates before adding them to the dishwasher as I never know how long it will be before I turn it on.
