The Lemon Chicken from this weeks Coles food catalogue was really nice. It is advertising Campbell's stock. I used vegie stock and confit garlic. An easy, tasty recipe.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Do be careful astarra, you don't want to lose the other hand as well.

I cooked myself the best meal I've made for ages, used the TMX, the microwave, the baby SC and even an old fashioned frying pan  ;D  I went the whole hog tonight and poured myself a glass of wine to enjoy with it.

Goulash, potato casserole, baked cauliflower and zucchini/carrot timbale.

I made my 1st Main meal tonight,  johnro's Gourmet Beef Casserole from October 9th 2010. The flavor was absolutely delicious but the meat was no where near tender enough for me. I will be using a different cut of meat in future.

Can you please tell me how much water I need when I cook potatoes in the Steamer basket and how long and what temperature to cook them for,  and how long for veg in the Veroma.
many thanks

Generally speaking penny, you use 500mls water for 30 minutes steaming time.  I tend to use more though 600-800mls and I usually start off with boiling water to save time. I use speed 3 or 4 depending on how many vegies there are.  It really is trial and error, keep a note each time you steam vegies so that you know what to do next time.
Here's
a list from Full Steam Ahead posted a while back, use it as a guide only as some times are too much I think.

Potatoes, 800mls of boiling water, veroma temp, speed 3, 23 mins works well for me :)
Veg are different times.
