Wonder you must be exhausted.
We had Salmon in the AF, set and forget. Coleslaw, salad and garlic aioli. My two amazing machines, AF and TM, Love them.

Wonder that IS a lot of cooking, I can only think that you had preplanned the menu or otherwise you are super super organised to do the shopping as well as plan at the drop of a hat (let alone cook singlehandedly)

CP it was just an extension on what we were having for tea. I didn't know they were all staying for dinner until I dropped them at golf at around 3 so I had to think quick with what we already had on hand. Fortunately I had marinated extra chicken ternderloins (throw out special at Aldi in the morning) as I thought we could have them for lunch during the week and had made the bread to use for my lunches, I had a stash of lamb cutlets and a packet of sausages in the freezer which defrosted well when left in a sink of cold water for 30 mins or so. The salads were the same and were all ingredients we already had to hand. Once they had all left and everything was cleaned up I was saying to DH how hard it would be to have that many kids to cook for everyday, I love doing it every now and again but wouldn't want to do it all the time.
CC - the custard was the good old packet one
have given up trying to convert them now and as I don't really eat it I figure it's a battle not worth fighting over.

Your DS's mates will think you're a super cook Wonder.
Talking about custard, Jo was saying the other night they had a power failure halfway through her making a trifle. The custard had to be made on the stove top, the first lot was a disaster and the second lot only just passed the test but taste wise did not
Just shows how much we rely on basic, simple things like custard and forget how it's done after years of just throwing everything into the Thermomix.

Rice paper rolls - I used cos lettuce cabbage, carrot, cucumber, snow peas, marinated tofu and sesame seeds.
It's really nice with avocado and peanuts but I'm trying to lighten up on the fats. Meat eaters could use chicken, pork or prawns.

I love rice paper rolls
I needed a quick dinner tonight as we have been away for a long weekend and I was tired after the drive. Frozen chicken was quickly defrosted and I made basil chicken served with cooked rice that was also in the freezer.

Spanish meatballs from thermomg blog. Very nice and I like the fact the meatballs cook in the rice basket whilst the tomato sauce cooks under it. I've steamed meatballs in the varoma before, but this way is a little bit easier again.

Thanks for the link to that blog Kimmyh - there are so many TMX blogs out there now that I can't keep up with them all. I had never seen that one before, and it looks great! Still more recipes to try ……… so little time.
