What's for Dinner Tonight?

Denise I'm curious. What temperature do you call warmer weather please?

It's DH's birthday today and he wanted chops and chips for his dinner tonight. Very easy. I made this Vegie Crumble to go with it. http://www.thepassionatepantry.com.au/veggie-crumble-option-add-chicken/
It was quite tasty. I only made half and we still have enough for the next 2-3 nights.
We had an apple sponge sort of thing for dessert.

Happy Birthday Mr.Cookie.The birthday meal sounds delicious.

Today the temperature reached a high of 28c.That's hot for the UK Cookie.We occasionally have the odd day of 30c+ but that's rare.Fortunately we don't experience the very high temperatures that you have during your summer.

Last night we had a Chicken, Mushroom & Bacon casserole.  Tonight will be Lamb Curry.

Tonight we are having a 'no fry 'chicken curry from Hemsley and Hemsley a cooking show on foxtel, all of their recipes are delicious

Cookie, I hope DH had a nice Birthday and enjoyed his birthday dinner. So easy to please.
My DH will eat & enjoy anything I cook, but requested good old homemade hamburgers for his birthday.
I made Pumpkin & Pulse curry from the Everyday cooking for Thermo families last night.  The pumpkin disintegrated quite a bit, but I didn't mind, it was more like a thick dhal. The flavour is beautiful, and I say 'is' because there is still heaps left. It gave a choice if lentils or chickpeas, I chose lentils.
I had another vege curry to go with it and some  Roti breads in the freezer, very tasty!

DJ said thanks Katj. Your curry sounds yum. DD has very strong vegetarian tendencies and we eat a lot of meatless meals.
Tonight we are having a roast pumpkin and spinach lasagne. Its very nice.

Belated Happy Birthday, Mr Cookie from Ral and Me.
Tonight we are having leftovers. I piece of barramundi grilled, Pastie from freezer and Cos lettuce and baby radishes from the garden. All pulled together with a yoghurt  roasted red pepper sauce. Paw paw for pud.
