DH went down to the beach to try and catch some whiting. He didn't get any so we will be having pork chops.

Ha ha, usually the way cookie.  I've eaten meals from the freezer last week and need to do the same this week to make room in the freezers.

We just had good old hamburgers with the lot and some home made chips on the side.
Always a winner with DH.

Cold chicken and Avacado on SD toast with side of salad veggies from garden. Will have soup for lunch.
Judy, good luck making space in the freezer.  I have been trying to clean out my big chest freezer. Only 1/4 full now.

That's still a lot of food Chookie, your chest freezer is the biggest I've ever seen in a private home LOL.

Left overs tonight.  Half a pastie, odd veggies & a bit of zucchini slice.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

We had a chicken breast that needed eating. DH sliced it up and cookies it with onion and Tikka paste. He made rice as well. ( not fun without the thermomix!). We had a side salad with it.

Know how you feel, Cookie.
We will be having something with mushrooms as we are having 100 blocks of mushroom compost delivered and they will be covered with mushrooms. Looks like the neighbours will also be having mushrooms for dinner.

I made Pork and Apple Burgers from the BBC program "Eat Well for Less" I used 500g of pork mince so reduced the recipe by a third. They are delicious.I made Chookie's No Fuss Rolls to have with them.

Nothing like a good home-made hamburger Denise.  I've been browsing the BBC website lately, some nice recipes there but I hadn't seen that recipe.  I do more browsing than cooking lately!

Looks yummy hoodie.
We are having the rest of a stew I made a few days ago, Beef, Balsamic & Tomato stew. An old one from Recipe community. Very tasty, I used blade steak, beautiful and tender after 40 mins.
