I've made the mushroom stroganoff Denise referred to yesterday and will serve it with zucchini noodles. I did 1/2 quantity and used ordinary cream as that's all I had. I'll get 2 serves for only $2 all up per serve - can't beat that!

It looks lovely Judy. DD has requested more non meat meals and I'm trying to do that as it will benefit all of us. We used to have 1/2 a week, now I'm trying to do 3/4/5 a week. The couple we have had lately have been delicious.

Thanks Denise and thanks for the link. I sautéed some spiralled zucchini and carrot in butter and tossed it through that, it was very tasty.

When I went grocery shopping today I bought a packet of Beef Sausages, reduced in price, so I cooked Quirky Cooking
Sausage Casserole with Dumplings
.I halved the dumpling recipe.

Sort of Judy. He knows it is healthy to do that. She is out 3-4 evenings a month at meetings so we have steak or pork chops then. We still have a roast as she enjoys them. I must admit I have found some lovely recipes. They are only part or little thermomix but would be tasty. She doesn't mind a little bacon or chorizo in meals. I think it hankers back to some of the prac classes she had at Uni, not so much eating animals.

We had Roasted Kumara Gnocchi with Garlic Sauce. Lots of steps to prepare but it will be quicker next time.
