We have been a bit lazy the last few nights. We have thrown some protein ( usually chicken or chick peas) into a pan and adding heaps and heaps of chopped up Veggies. Last night we added some rice and stock concentrate. It's quick and easy. It's quite warm up here.

I'm currently having another attempt at reducing the contents of my freezers.  A beef stew tonight and a packet of pork mince taken out to try a recipe I saw on recipetineats, only problem with that being 1 pack out and a few packs back in as I won't be able to eat it all in one sitting. It's a never ending battle.

Yes Judy, know the feeling. I made wontons with some pork mince. Just added ginger, garlic and a tin of water chestnuts. Mixed all in TMX.

Yes Judy, I am taking things to work for lunches, to help reduce meals made in advance that are in the freezer.
I want to clear freezer space.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Japanese pork meatballs with sweet & sour sauce  http://japan.recipetineats.com/japanese-pork-meatballs-niku-dango-with-two-sauces/  Served with zucchini & carrot zoodles.

I steamed the meatballs in the varoma then browned them in a little oil and butter.

The sauce was too tart for me so I added 3 tbspns chopped fresh pineapple. It doesn't seem as if it will be enough sauce for half the quantity of the meatball recipe but there is plenty. It clings really well to the balls.

I've been looking at those broccoli cheese bites Judy. We had steak sandwiches with a Cannelini bean, corn, celery and roasted red capsicum salad. It was very tasty.

Here they are just out of the oven cookie, I heated some more tonight for a much shorter time to have with sausages & mash for tea and they are lovely.

Had the soup off Recipe Community, Black Bean and tomato with coriander lime cream, it was delicious.  I had a bit of left over farro so tossed that in as well for a bit of extra substance and chewy texture.
