Home made meat pies from the freezer for the men, with mash & beans.  Zucchini fritters for me.

We are having the salmon fish fingers tonight. We had several unexpected visitors late yesterday so I didn't get to make them.
Take care K Atie. As things improve it is too easy to forget and do something you shouldn't.

CC, was the Mexican recipe on the Cook Key?
I used beer because I forgot the Stout.  Still good. Having again for dinner  tonight. I prepared the Carrot and Parsnip the day before.
Made Apple Novel pudding, ( posted).  It is very nice and so easy.   The sauce takes on the Apple flavour.  I made just 2 serves and cooked it in the AF.

The Chicken Mexican Stew wasn't a Cook Key recipe Chookie.
I made Teriyaki Chilli Salmon with Noodles.

Thanks CC.
Spaghetti Bol.  Haven’t had it for ages. Hid lots of veggies in it.  Minced them in the TMX.

Your mention of spag. bol., Chookie, reminded me of a near disaster my colleague at work experienced last week.  He was making it for dinner and discovered he had no sugar and all he could find was some strawberry jam ... so he put a dollop of that in.  He said it was the best spag. bol. he had ever had.  The following day I was reading an article about unlikely complementary tastes and tomatoes with strawberries was one, so the spag bol emergency turned out to be an acknowledged taste combination.

Tonight we are having a hummus pasta dish (I am pretty sure hummus and pasta did not appear in the abovementioned article!).
