What's for Dinner Tonight?

Took some Lamb Korma out of freezer.  Might make it into pies.
Also want to test the Zuchinni and Tom Soup l as a base for Pasta. Also have some beautiful sausages.  Might make them into balls and add to pasta.

We are having a RTE with risoni in it. Its still too hot to cook or eat.

The Lamb Korma made lovely little pies in the pie machine. I used GF pastry I had in the freezer and it worked very well.
Today will make the meatball pasta.

Chookie, I see Women's Weekly have just brought out a cookbook targeted to making pies in the pie maker.  I haven't looked inside it to see what it's like but I will do so when I see a copy.  I hear it's much cheaper in BigW.

Julie, that is very naughty of you.  Might save experimenting with the cooking times. I have developed a couple of tricks to get a nice looking result.  I use a small glass jar to gently settle the pastry into the hole.  Wonder if WW have any tricks.

Did the same.  No go. They all come through distributors.  $10 difference, depending on where you buy it.

Bought a large chicken.  Will cut it in half and make 2 different dishes. Aim to cook both on BBQ as it is getting warmer.

I made an old fashioned Aberdeen Sausage to have with salad tonight.

Just plain roast Chicken, sitting on lots of veggies. Baked in BBQ. Watermelon to follow.

Skinnymixers roast pork with apple sauce . Yum , roast steamed in the Varoma then crispy cracking in the oven .
