DD & family couldn’t go over to Melbourne for the long weekend so they’re going to Perth instead cookie. I told her to make sure they have a fish and chip meal on the wharf when they go down to Fremantle.

Wonderful Judy. Is your long weekend coming up? We had ours last weekend. I hope it doesn't rain. Is there anything I can help them with?

Yes this coming weekend cookie. It does look like most days will be wet over there but the kids cope with anything and will do what they’ve planned no matter what the weather is like. Just one thing you may be able to help with though, which eatery on the Fremantle wharf serves up the best fish and chips. I have a friend over there at the moment and she was in Fremantle yesterday, she said Cicerello’s is the best but when I checked out the reviews there seemed to be a lot of negative comments. Maybe things have improved, where would you suggest please? I’ll be looking after the dogs whilst they’re away and lucky for us there is no rain expected at that time which is great for me as they won’t have to miss out on their walks.

Either Cicerellos or Kailis would be best Judy. However the Fish Shack  is nice too. Saturday looks the best for weather, but it doesn’t look too bad. I’m sure they will have lots of fun.

I’m cooking Mexican tonight.  Will be taking it around to DD. Making Tortillas from scratch.
Made a sticky Date pud inTMX.  I’m sure they will like it.
Fish and chips sounds great.

The most popular dish was the vegetarian beans and rice.  Cooked green Capsicum in a little oil, added cooked brown rice( cooked in TMX) and a tin of black beans ( washed). tin of chopped tomatoes. Mixed all together. Add some cumin powder and chilli to taste. Eat hot or cold.

Just reporting . I heated the Duck in the AF. Perfect.  It was precooked Luv- a - Duck.
Tonight, Spag Bol over Zoodles mixed with a little spaghetti.
