I've been out of action for a week with stomach trouble so DH has been eating out of the freezer, there can't be much left in there by now.

I hope you’re OK again now Margaret. A good thing you had the freezer well stocked for DH.

That sounds , Mab, hope your somach has settled down now. Freezers are great for times like this, taking the pressure off you to cook everyday; a quick trip to the freezer gets you dinner on the table quickly and easily with minimum fuss.

Silverside and veg for DH, the smell of it cooking is making me feel nauseous. I'll probably just have a slice of toast.

Mab, hope you are feeling better.
Last night DD and I had dinner at a local pub. I had grilled prawns in a lemon garlic sauce. ( only they weren’t grilled) and DD had chicken Quinoa salad.
Tonight, pastie, kindly made by neighbour.

Made a veal and veggie casserole in SC. Will serve with mashed pots and sweet potato and green beans. I thought I would like some Brussel sprouts but they were $19 a kilo. ,!
