Yesterday was my birthday so we went to our favourite Indian restaurant and had Sev Puri, Onion Bhaji, Bombay Aloo, Chicken Mak..(something that I can't spell), rice, garlic naan and mango kulfi. Now I feel like a big blob, but it was a gorgeous treat!

Happy birthday for yesterday Marina, sounds like a nice meal you had there. Nice to not have to cook on your birthday. Made a note for next year

Thanks for all your good wishes. JD, you have such a kind heart, if you make a note of everyone's birthdays you will never get to bed at night!! However, I will easily remember Geoff's as we are right next to each other!

belated bday wishes Marina...good you had the night off cooking and enjoyed your meal!
for lunch we had MMs bol sauce with chilli salt added, made with pasta at the end like CCs pasta bolognaise method minus the parmesan cheese and as there were so many leftovers (mainly only me who ate as DS eats like a mouse and DD fell alseep while I was cooking lol)....so i put the leftovers ie 3/4 of it into a glass oven dish and ill top it with either mash and cheese or a cheese sauce and bake it in the oven for dinner with a fresh salad...might even just do monkeyboyzmums cheese sauce and pour it oven and bake until golden...easy dinner!
