Beef madras (from the coles Curtis Stone recipe I converted ages ago) still a massive family favourite and the kids all had 2nds at least.

We had JD's curried mince - first time- kids not big fans but DH and I enjoyed it. We needed to add a bit of chilli but hadti keep it 'not spicy' for the kiddies. Another one I can present to my fussy Scottish in-laws so thanks JD.

Ham steaks from the leg of ham DH bought yesterday. ??? Hopefully with an onionand cheese tart. If it works I'll post the recipe.

Chicken, rice and vegetables from the UK Fast & Easy cookbook. They described it by saying 'looks & tastes like a risotto but is cooked in a different way' and although it is served as layered rice, vegies, chicken and sauce poured over the top, it certainly does taste like risotto.  Very easy to do & follow - the only tweak I made was to cut the olive oil down from 70g to 40g (some of that is used at the beginning to marinate the chicken for a  very short time).

Chicken with Pesto,Taleggio and Roasted Tomatoes.

Not the greatest bit of food photography but it was delicious.Served it with steamed baby new potatoes,chantenay carrots and frozen peas.
