Looks great Maddy could you please post the recipe

Here it is Yvette.
I doubled the recipe (extra for hubby's plate, and some for freezer).....and nearing the end of cooking, the sauce goes nice thick....so I added a little extra water as well to stretch it out   ;)
I cooked for 1 1/2 hours.

Thanks Maddy did you double the 800g of beef or is that already doubled? Thanks will cook soon and let you know how it goes, I am a bit tempted to try it in the slow cooker not sure yet

Just toasted sandwiches, (in those little non stick bags).  Pancakes, (crepes) from EDC Book.  Used the egg wash mix left from brushing bread yesterday.

Tonight we had wagyu beef steak, cauliflower & potato mash in tm, baby peas, mushrooms in a cream & bacon sauce. Absolute yum

Finally made Spiced chicken & sweet potato after reading Chelsea's tweaks - thanks to both ILB and Chelsea.  We so enjoyed this easy and delicious meal. I used disced tomatoes, 1 tabsp TMX stock paste and followed Chelsea's advice using 200ml water, skipped the chilli flake and served with steamed vegs.  5/5 for this dish.  :)  :)

I did double the beef Yvette....cos hubby is the ultimate carnivore!......but even if you doubled the sauce and kept beef amount same, that would be lovely......who doesn't love lots of sauce.
If you use slow cooker, I would imagine original recipe amount would suffice.

The beginning of the warm weather is here already so salads are appearing a warm pumpkin, spinach and feta salad with lamb cutlets, also added toasted pinenuts, baby beetroot and roasted tomatoes.  :)  :)

last night was chicken enchiladas, using Julies enchilada sauce



and tonight I made Chelsea's creamy garlic prawn risotto, and mixed up some preserved lemon mayo and served it with grilled asparagus.

We had Vivaroo's Smoky Lentil Goulash but found it a little sweet, so perhaps a little less sweet paprika and, as the liquid smoke I used didn't seem to be very strong, I might add some smoky paprika instead next time; also added some of Thermoconvert's Worcestershire Sauce - served over rice, the goulash was delicious.
