so excited i cant sleep!

hi everyone, i'm nicky from busselton w.a i am waiting for my machine to arrive, i checked the postbox 3 times today after the postman had already been! waiting for that card to say i can pick it up from the post office.
i went to a demo about 2 months ago and was so excited i could not get to sleep because my mind was running overtime (a bit like my tmx will be soon!)
my husband craig just checked out a recipe on his laptop, so i think its going to be lots of fighting going on trying to decide what to make first and who is going to make it. we have 2 toddlers and are looking forward to giving them some healthy treats and have already been making ice and frozen yoghurt and stocking up on berries.
craft night happens to be at my house this week so i think maybe not a lot of craft will get done but a lot of noise will be made!
see you all soon, nicky

Nicky, congratulations! I know exactly how excited you must be. I've had mine for about a month now. It's a life changing investment!
You will be so confused what to cook first - spoilt for choice!
I wish I knew about TMX when my boys were little but on the upside, I'm teaching them to cook now using the TMX and they love it! They're eating things now that they would turn their noses up at before. It's a cunning plan but you do what it takes!
Enjoy every minute of your new toy. I pray it arrives tomorrow for you!
Good luck!

Congratulations on your new addition!
Why isn't your consultant dropping your tmx off to you? I hope your consultant does the right thing and does a demo for you and gives you your thermoserver.

Hi Nicky, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are well and truly prepared to get started once your TMX arrives. I too wondered why it is coming through the post - where's your nearest consultant and how far did you have to go to the demo? Busselton's a fair way down but it isn't the end of the earth by any means

Welcome Nicky74. I got excited for you just reading your post
Hopefully it will arrive today. We love Busso and get down there quite often. There is at least one other forum member from there as well.

maybe if your DH is so keen to take over the TM, get him into making cocktails so you can lie on the lounge and he can serve you up cocktails while he cooks

Hi Nicky,
I can so relate to your excitement. I hope it arrives today!
Great stuff that DH is so keen too!! Sounds like you could have lots of fun together.
My consultant was going to have my tmx posted to me so I could get it sooner than her delivering it but she actually ended up picking it up from Perth for me & gave me the demo when she dropped it out here, so that was good. Hopefully you'll get your one on one demo soon. Just gives a bit more confidence when using it!
Happy cooking!!!
I like Creampuffs suggestion!!! Wish I could get my DH interested!!

hi everyone and thanks for all your welcomes, no it didnt arrive today
, maybe tommorrow! my consultant just moved house last week, which is why she had it posted directly to me, (the thermoserver is coming with it) but she gave us a demo last week on her machine, and said to call her when it arrived. i had the demo booked but decided to order the tmx before the demo because i knew once i had seen it again i wouldnt want to wait any longer before i could play! so ordered on 1st nov, demo on 6th, and very nearly here!!! i read the 32 point checklist somebody posted so hopefully will be ok. also very alarmed that it was possible to weld the jug etc, and read that out to craig to make sure he doesnt do it! he loves to cook too, so i am very lucky. he was happy to purchase the tmx before he had even seen it, he just looked online and saw the sorbet demo. will keep you all posted with our new arrival!

Hi joynatalie, welcome to the forum. Let your friends laugh at you, you will have the last laugh when you start serving up delicious meals and tidbits for them all.
Nicky 74, glad you found the 32 point checklist to do your own delivery demo
I received my second bowl set yesterday, just 3 working days from when it was ordered and I remembered reading through the checklist when it was posted and thinking I was sure my bowl wasn't given the treatment before using it at my delivery demo 2 years ago. Took me a while to find it but I did and it is now all ready to go when I need 2 bowls. How nice and bright and shiny are new bowls
. Came complete with items I wasn't expecting - the steaming basket and butterfly which I didn't really need as I have a spare butterfly anyway. Wonder if the package would have been cheaper if I had told them I didn't need these additions. Any consultants know the answer to that?

Hi Nicky and welcome. I've only had my TMX about 6 weeks but know what you mean about not sleeping!! I was constantly dreaming about having one after I went to a demo. I wasn't going to buy straight away, because of the cost, but in the end, my husband said to just get it now so I can get some sleep
. I'm so glad I did, although I am still tired, as I'm in the kitchen lots more, making so many more things from scratch. But it's now tired in a good, satisfied way
