hi joynatalie, you poor thing, we all learn by our mistakes, its what makes us better people and better cooks! i made the chicken & cashew dish tonight, was very excited because it was thefirst time i used the basket and veroma, but i didnt like it at all, it was just tastless. needed a lot more flavour added, maybe a sesame marinade on the chicken first or something, so just keep that in mind if you decide to make that or the butter chicken, you need a lot more spice, however, i am still raving about the tomato & salami fettucine, that was delicious.
made the stock concentrate today, that was really easy, apart from the shock when i tasted it, salt omg! :o will be great to use though.
look forward to hearing what you have for dinner tomorrow joynatalie :)

just letting everyone know that i have to work tomorrow but dh has the day off so he is looking through the recipe book choosing what to cook for dinner tomorrow night, think hes come up with shepherds pie.  just got mince out of freezer but its 3 times the amount needed for recipe so he will just have to make something else with the rest! (he doesnt want to mess around increasing quantities on his first ever use of tmx) still havnt come up with a name yet for it, i asked my 3yr old, she called it the sorbet thing!

Much better day, made tomato cashew dip, fettucine and cake! Still struggling with measuring stuff particularly liquid when there is already stuff in it.  I am loving it

Nicky, we love the chicken and cashews, but I do 'tweak' it a fair bit, and use coconut cream with the water in the bowl so the rice is coconut rice, then make a quick cashew satay sauce out of the 'juices' at the end.  Been meaning to post my version - must do that!

Thanks Nicky  :)  I haven't had time for much blogging the last two weeks  :(  I just seem to be running past the computer and quickly checking the forum to see what's happening!  ;D

Joynatalie, you can measure anything into the TM bowl at any time, even during cooking.  Just turn the speed dial off, press the scale button and add what you need.  Then just turn the speed dial back to where it was and it will continue cooking.  Always make sure the 0:000 comes up though before adding anything.  I got caught out a few times by trying to add ingredients before the noughts came up and it doesn't work :-)) :-))

You guys are so nice! Things are improving I made another pasta thing last night (my own concoction) and tonight I made. Rice with salmon and veggies in the varooma.  I am really interested in making coconut rice but don't know how if u make rice in the steamer.  I did make my own cake (twice lol) the second time I used the butterfly which improved the fluffiness! Not sure what I will make tomorrow! I am off to mark t in the morning so will stock up on fruit and veggies as my kids are loving the smoothies.

Hi Nicky a late welcome to the forum and the world of TMX. Already you have discovered the wealth of knowledge and support that comes from this forum.  There are never enough hours in the day to play with your TMX, surf around the forum (and all that goes with that experience) as well as do the mundane activities of life -  :D  :D.  Enjoy!

Cheers

I  also notice that I use mine everyday sometimes all day. My neighbours come over and watch me make different things in amazement .
