Can't wait to try these. I didn't bring the tmx on holidays so will have to wait until I get home. I always use it the Pampas 25% fat reduce puff pastry. I'm not normally a fan of fat reduced, but this is lovely, crisp and no oily residue.

Lisel... I am a vegan and make some very similar to Cyndi's recipe but the recipe I use has silken tofu instead of the fetta. You won't taste the tofu, but it gives it the right texture.
You may like to try that.

I always use that pastry too meganjane, they turned out great for this recipe.

Squirrel I did think of that but I've made tofu based sausage rolls before and the meat eaters complained loudly (which is unusual) so I was hoping to be able to tell them no tofu, but maybe a little bit would go unnoticed :-)

I think I'd use rough puff or butter puff as Cyndi suggests in her recipe next time. I found the pastry didn't rise and flake as it usually does with regular sausage rolls. It seems to need the fat from the sausage meat.
They were very tasty. I'm going to put some minced mushroom in next time and more fresh herbs.

I have made these several times now and everyone is convinced they have meat in them. They are devine! I took advice from comments of the forum and left the mixture in the fridge for about 1/2 hr. They have come out perfect everytime. The herbs used are parsley, rosemary, thyme & black pepper. Today I also added 1 carrot, 1/2 green capsicum & 1/2 red capsicum + 1 pinch chilli flakes.

My husband has requested these for lunch today - last time I made them I used WeetBix instead of breadcrumbs (weevils in the breadcrumbs yech) and they turned out great. Will add carrot today!

Made these for the first time yesterday and they got a big thumbs up all round! I used butter puff pastry, 2 eggs and added some carrot when blitzing the onion - all suggestions from here. Will definitely be making these again.

i didnt have any feta, i used a mix of goats, parm, and tasty cheese + 1 teaspoon of garlic and a few tbls of ketchup manis
i did try one for B/F and i must say OMG these are fantastic i hope DD likes them 2

I dont know for the conventional oven but I have microwaved them from frozen. Wrapped in paper towel and I think it was about 1.5 - 2 min on high.
