I am going to give these a go now too. :) Are they a crunchy or chewy cookie? I too read the EDC one and thought, TOO MUCH BUTTER, it must make HEAPS> Oh do you think these would freeze well? Thank you :)

Mrs Oliver they are a light crunchy biscuit. And I would think they would freeze well although I have never tried. :)

I'm sorry to say I don't think I'll be making these biscuits ever again,(well not soon anyway). ;)
The mix was great and no problem, I used milk and white chocolate chips and a few chopped macadamias as well, very nice. :D The only problem I have with them is that I ate far too many of them. They were just too nice.

These are popular in out house too. They are rapidly disappearing from the biscuit container, and I will need to bake again very soon :(

I made these for the first time today and of course I wish I'd made them sooner! ;D It's such a great recipe, so easy and simple and using such basic ingredients. Thanks Mandi xx

I just made these tonight, subbing 2 Tbsp vinegar for the egg (since I was making them for a friend who can't eat eggs) and they are delicious! I was a bit scared as the mixture was very crumbly initially and then out of the oven, but they firmed up as they cooled and you'd never know there was no egg.

I love how quick they are and I doubt they'll last long in our place!  ;D ;D
