my mother in law has one like that but its orange and only mixes and heats up the food...a very old thermie..she doesnt use it much anymore though..im not sure those models were available in oz and not actually sure how long the thermomix has been available in oz???

The 3300 is from the 1980's and the orange one is the original model from the 1960's - I have clients with those old models still in daily use!

it still works fine just my mother in law doesnt use it and actually made me more sure of the brand when i 'discovered' the TM31..thought it was older lol..she raves about it though how great it was even back then...says alot for the brand!  On the french vorwerk site they used to have all the models but its no longer there although they do have them in our local thermomix office/kitchen..i noticed last time i went for a class!  :)

TMX has been in OZ since 2001 (TM21 model)  ;)

yes I have seen them in Poundland which means they cost more than they did in the 80's when they were 75p per box!
