If it's any consolation Judy......they're really really flat tins Rara.....thinking these could be wickedly good with chopped up cherryripes in them

Either split the thicker ones or take two of the thinner ones and "fill" them with Italian meringue into which you have stirred chopped cherries and pecans.
OK, I managed to find the tins at Woolworths Glenelg - neither Coles nor the specialty kitchenware shop had them. Back home to DD's place to whip her up a batch and bought 4 home for ourselves. They are excellent but I still find them too big for me - I'm happy with half of one as I am sure most of my visitors would be too. Thanks for the recipe Rara - I look forward to more from you.
