It's been raining here in Adelaide all day today so I fancied a nice hot rice pudding tonight. Thought I had better try this one after having sent it to so many. Waiting for the 15 minutes rest time, put some in a bowl and did the taste test. Yuk! So salty. I couldn't work out why as I distinctly remember only putting a pinch of salt in. I was really puzzled so retraced the steps in my mind and yes, I had picked up the brown pottery salt pot to spoon in the 50g 'sugar'. That has to be my worst senior moment so far - DH laughed but I didn't think it was funny because I didn't have enough short-grain rice to make another batch. Must say it looked really nice though
I haven't tried making one yet, but am addicted to chocolate Le Rice... do you think either of the recipes could be adapted to make a chocolate one? And would someone mind PMing me the MWOC one - pretty please?
