Hi and Welcome. How exciting, You will be non stop cooking very soon. The only problem I found when I first got my TM was getting everyone to eat more so I could keep cooking more. We never had the same meal twice for a longtime.

Thanks dede - I'm off to Cambodia in August for 3 weeks leaving my hubby home to fend for himself with our 4 children, so plan on doing loads of cooking so he can have almost 3 weeks worth of food in the freezer

Hi Kellie and welcome!
I got my TMX Saturday morning and before the demo had not heard of it.(i know how could that have been???) Tonight we, husband, girl 7 & boy 14 had the bangers and mash from the all in one section, which was quick easy and tasty.
We have done heaps and only 1 night without using it. The bolognese sauce is a winner, pu ^^mpkin soup great, although mum tells me pumpkin soup goes watery when frozen.
On n upside your hubby will be able to easily create meals himself, so you wont have to worry at all while you are away. Mine never cooked before but was the main driving force behind our purchase and is quite keen and learning how to use the TMX.
I would try a soup, something for the kids I did a bread mix rolled flat spread with vegemite and cheese, rolled and sliced Tmx vegemite n cheese scrolls yummy. Also the fruity dream wil win them.

sorry for my ramble I just love my TMX, I am doing the Varoma demo meal for mothers day dinner.

Hi Kellie, welcome to the forum.  How exciting for you, it must be hard having to wait to order a TMX when you see all the fun us guys are having on here but the time has arrived and you will be able to join us very shortly.  You will be busy stocking up the freezer for your family in your absence but have you thought about teaching your DH how to do some recipes so that he could perhaps make some of the meals himself.  
Have a look through the Main Meal or the All In One section for some recipes that have had plenty of reviews and see if there is anything there that takes your fancy to start with or even browsing through the What are you Cooking Today or Whats for Dinner Tonight in the Chit Chat section will give you plenty of ideas - some nice pictures there too which is always helpful. Have fun.

I remember waiting to get mine just before Christmas. Seemed to take forever for it to come. I had just had a major operation and was expecting quite a few people for Christmas. Not sure I could have done it without the TMX. My DH and I went to Thailand in early Feb and left two teenagers and another teenage guest in the house for 2 weeks on their own. I cooked almost 50 frozen meals in less than a week in the TMX to tide them over. Looking back know I realise what a mammoth effort this would have been without the TMX. I'm sure you'll love it Kellie and you'll be cooking away before too long.

The waiting is agonising isn't it?

I ordered mine yesterday and am soooo excited!  Now the waiting is spent on searching all the great recipes here and printing off the ones I want to try, I don't think I will be getting much work done when it arrives

  Why not Jan, cooking is much more fun.  I do like having visitors occasionally though as it does make me do a few extra jobs.
