Marking recipes as favourites

Is there a way to mark recipes as favourites so I can mark them and come back to them later? Or do people just write them down to come back to?

I print them out and file them in a 'to do' file in catagories.

As I print off the recipes that I want to try: once I have made the recipe, I give it a tick and a short comment. Recipes with ticks go into a Favourites file, and recipes that don't score a tick go in the bin.
(Its either good enough to make again, or not. There are just too many recipes out there to cook!)

I also print off the ones I want to try. (there are so amny of them). Then when I have tried them I use a dot system. 3 dots is yum do again, 2 dots is don't bother and 1 dot is yuk. the 3 dot recipes all go into a file with comments etc all over them. I have just recently put all my 3 dot TMX recipes into a 100 page file that has plastic envelopes in it. I've titled it Volume one of favourite TMX recipes. Copied from CP63. When I get home I itend to do a page of contents for it.

I copy and paste into a word document and then save in sub folders within a folder of thermie recipes. I print out as I make them or delete if not - although there has only been 1 dish in the later category. Thanks to all forum members for comments and reviews as this helps reduce the decision making! I often feel that I am more of a caretaker rather than a contributor - I need to prioritize my time so that I can do some recipe reviews and posts. Cheers

You certainly have contributed Robyn - there are 6 of your recipes in the Mains Section. I for one love your recipes .
Doing reviews is just as important as posting recipes though, it encourages others to try recipes so hats off to you on that score too.

Hi, I print off the recipe, and make notes of all the changes/hints other people have made. Then when I have tried it, and want to make it again, I wait until I have another recipe in that section eg chicken, put them back to back and laminate them, easy to wipe off spills, then into a folder, under corresponding secion eg, chicken, cakes etc.

I've started using evernote as an intermediary. I put them into evernote and when I've made it,if we like it I print it out. I love evernote as even I can use it.

Have started to use Evernote as a result of forum suggestions and down loading it on the Living Cookbook only if I am happy with the recipe
