The feta and spinach muffins (under snacks) - anyone know how much spinach is recommended? I was thinking around 60g?? It's not in the ingredients list, lol.

I have this app for a little while and find it very handy. I had someone phone me the other for a recipe and I didn't have any of my books on me. Pulled up the app and there it was a similar recipe that I could share with them over the phone.

Monica, any chance this app will be developed for android phones as well? I'm definitely interested in buying it but don't have an iphone/ipad.

Hi Monica,
For the salmon and ricotta mousse recipe under snacks and light meals you still haven't specified how much salmon to use- also, is it smoked salmon or tinned salmon?
Otherwise, congratulations on a great app. I use it a lot but I'm glad to see you are gradually getting rid of all of the errors and keep up the great recipe updates each month!!!!!

I bought this very soon after it came out.  I have the iPhone version but on my iPad. Now that the iPad version is also available now, does it differ much?  Is it worth me upgrading and, since I already bought the iPhone version, could I get a discount  :o

Monica,  I really like this App and use it quite often.  However when one of the recipes that I have created is printed without acknowledgement i feel miffed. The  'two Second Salad" is an example of this. You can either acknowledge it as Chookie, or achookwoman,  or Elizabeth.

I think it's pretty rude to use other people's recipes without permission too. I would love a tmx iPad app but won't be purchasing this one for that reason.

Hi all - sorry it has taken me a while to get back on here - I was away for the holidays! Wishing you all the best for the New year.

Now to answer the above queries:

1) As for the salmon mousse - the amount of salmon is 200gm smoked salmon. This has now been corrected on the current version - thanks for pointing it out.

2) Chookwoman - apologies if an original recipe has been published without acknowledgement. Many of the recipes we have been publishing in the updates have been sent in by readers/users and gleaned from the www.  Where it is obviously an original recipe (from a blog etc), then we try to attribute to the original writer, the problem is often identifying "original recipes" in an age where there are literally millions of versions of things. And in many cases we have applied the "10%" rule - that is, if we have altered the recipe after trialling it, then it is no longer the original. We have indeed contacted bloggers and gained their permission to publish with attribution - several of quirkyjo's and brazen's recipes are on there. And other bloggers have asked their content not be published - fair enough too. If you could kindly send me the original link to the recipe, I will happily attribute it (with a link) or if you prefer we will remove it.

3) Ipad vs iPhone version - if you are happy with the way the iphone version presents on your ipad then there is no need to buy the other version. The ipad version is simply a larger format so that it appears better on the ipad screen.

Thanks to all of you for your feedback and questions. A while ago I said that we had only developed this app because of our own passion for the TMX and cooking so, while we acknowledge it may not be as slick as a "professional" app, we are committed to making it better all the time, with more recipes, corrections and updates happening about every month.

And thanks to many of the comments received - we have also decided to include images in the next release so look out for that one! We are aiming to hit 1000 recipes this year so keep them coming in as well - if you have favourites you want included, let us know (and also let us know if it needs to be attributed to your fave blogger). :)
