Made this last night and it was fantastic. Made sauce in TM and added chopped capsicum and carrots half way through cooking time. Moved all into saucepan to simmer whilst I made rice in TM.  Added prawns (because no chicken in house for first time ever) to simmering sauce and cooked for a few minutes. Delicious and so versatile. Thank you so much this is on our favourites list forever!

Yep, I was thinking that Amy. I think I'll make it again with the noodles, but maybe reduce the soy sauce and honey slightly and replace with stock maybe?

I don't know why my chicken shredded, next time I use chicken breast in the tMX I will cut the pieces larger. (like I said, I'm not used to using the breast, I usually use thigh)

It is really versatile! I think the marinade suggestion is a great one too!

Stock sounds like a good idea Blackwood ;) Good luck when you make it again!

This recipe is very similar to one I made a few weeks back and it was divine just cooked on the stove top. I ripped it out of an old newspaper I had come across. I am making this for dinner tonight so am looking forward to seeing how it comes out in the thermomix.

Okies,it has been made & eaten here.

The verdict is..... It was very delicious!

It had a lot of sauce which I loved as I like to drown my rice with it.

I garnished it with thin slices of spring onion & chilli.

I made this again last night with thigh fillets and it was much better than the breast meat which shredded. Yum!

Yay, so glad it worked better for you this time. I made the same mistake using chicken breast fillets, so I'll have to try it again with thigh fillets too!

I tried this with prawns tonight. I made half the sauce so it doesn't look real saucy. Next time will chop the tails off the prawns first to make it easier to eat. DH not keen on prawns but I liked it...

I made this tonight as per the recipe (except for breast instead of thighs) and I loved it.  The little girl visiting liked it :), but my children didn't :(.  That is typical, anything that is easy for me is something they don't like.

Oh well back to the drawing board!!

Three like Chilli, roast lamb, pies, roast potatoes , stir fry and fried rice.  And one is a vego who eats rice, pasta,  raw veggies and berry smoothies.  I am going crazy trying to find something that everyone likes at the same time.  Funnily enough they all like cakes and bickkies.  My thermo is getting a good run in the cakes section.
