Balinese cooking
«
on:
June 22, 2011, 12:01:53 am »
I am off to Bali at the of the month. I will be doing cooking course at Bambu Bali. It is an authentic balineese restaurant with a cooking school. We have eaten there many times. The restaurant is In Nusa dua. Anyone else been.
I am happy to post some recipes if anyone is able to covert them for the TM. They use a lot of spices so the TM will make the recipes much easier.

Looking forward to them Hally - you never know, you might find them easy enough to convert yourself.

Hally I am also going to bali in July and doing a cooking class. It is different to yours this one is done in someones home. The TM is oficially being launched in Bali on 1st August. A bit dearer than here though around USD $2250. I was emailing them to ask how much a replacement bowl was. They are getting back to me.

The course looks really good and you can Internet the money into a ANZ account here. The owner Heinz is German
But has lived in Bali many years, I think he was the head chef of a 5* hotel before he started the restaurant and school. We have eaten at the restaurant many times.
It gets booked quickly
