Ohhh! Sounds absolutely wonderful! It's so cheap to go to Bali from here, but I've already been three times and really not interested in going again. You'll have a ball!

My dream trip is a culinary tour of France......

Mine too! DH has no interest whatsoever so this will be a trip that I hope to take with likeminded people to really enjoy in the next 2-3 years.

Yes I did Hally. Thank you for posting it. Am waiting for the friend I'm going with to get back to Perth to talk to her. We will have to park our 2 boys up somewhere for the day if we go.

I can give you the name and number of our babysitter , a lot of pretty families use her
Whoops nearly fell off treadmil. Have DH next showing off, but he can't operate iPad and coordinate treadmill! Pls I am on ahige Incline.

Hally, you just be careful multitasking whilst on the treadmill, one slip and you might not be going on that holiday to Bali next week  ;)

Thanks Judy,

I am actually getting much better and faster at the typing whilst on the Freddie. Of course this morning DH was showing off and running ar 12kph while I was walking, I occasionally run but I am not very good at it, I am not a runner. I made hi. Do a combat class once, yes kicked his b**t in that one

The course was fun, interesting and we did some hands on, plus we got to eat the food for lunch. Very very delicious, will be posting some recipes later in the month.

Well worth doing if your visiting Bali.

I met the executive chef who is in charge at our hotel and of St.. Regis, he has won many pastry awards and now coaches the chefs here for the Asian pacific competitions, he is a brilliant chef. I am hoping to get some recipes from him too.

Hi everyone.  I was in Bali recently and attended a cooking class in Ubud, which was only 350,000 IR, including pickup/dropoff.

I also bought a recipe book from the Rotary Club of Bali Ubud Sunset and thought some of you might like to get hold of a copy of that.  It is called CULINARY CROSSROADS - Food from the Heart of Bali and was published in 2011 by http://www.rotarybaliubudsunset.org .

There are too many recipes in the 80 pages for me to list all individually, but the contents include APPETISERS AND BEVERAGES, SOUPS AND SALADS, VEGETABLES AND SIDE DISHES, MAIN DISHES, DESSERTS and THIS AND THAT.

It costs only 100, 000 IR plus whatever postage would be.
