Nikkit,  great.  Have fun.
Katie,  I am sure this book will lift your spirits.
This group of 6 girls reminds me of this Forum.  They all bring something different and valuable to the group activity.  They are generous in sharing and well organised.
While waiting in the PO yesterday I saw their first book for sale.  I just had to have it.  I like the layout and presentation of the 2nd book more than the first,  but it has some classic recipes that I will make and convert if possible.

Thanks Ladies  :) I thought I'd done pretty well in the shopping department too!

I figure that with 2 TM's on the bench I can make more noise to drive my hubby mad! But one day when and if a child of mine leaves home, there'll be a thermie on the back seat for them to sweeten the deal! And if a new model comes out, then I may have to buy that too - seeing as I have 2 girls!

The pup - he sort of has a name, but it isn't set in stone yet. Will decide probably next week when I see him again to make sure it "fits"!

Nikkit . . now there's absolutely no excuse!   http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2551.0
No need for transatlantic etc etc  happy hours now . .   this can be your first "dish" in the new machine to celebrate it's arrival into your family fold!! ;D ;D  Well done!! :D

I'm still working on it goldfish! Have my SIL coming Friday night, so will definitely make it then, that way I won't have to drink the whole recipe on my own. Because drinks are just one recipe you cannot halve!

I've been tempted by the Monday Morning books, but have managed to drag myself away. I just signed up for 2 x dog insurances. Was a big decision because its pretty expensive, but then again so are vet bills.

It could pay off though CP.

CP - we're thinking of dog insurance too for the new pup, just not sure who to go with.

We should have had it when our staffy was younger, with him eating rat bait (over $1000 - he had to have his stomach pumped and the vets thought he was hilarious as they'd never seen so much green bait in one dogs guts before - and he thought it was pretty funny too and kept the vets entertained the whole time...thought they should have given us a discount for the pleasure of his company!) and another time he was constipated and needed "help" but after 2 days and copious dollars I bought him home where he promptly has the biggest poop in the history of doggies and trotted off like there was never a problem! And then there was the echidna quills, and the dead snake - I only found the 'blunt' end not the 'pointy' end, the list goes on!

Dogs!

And I'm getting another one..... :-))

went with Petplan, classic  #1 plan. I was at the park yesterday and a lady said when her dog was 5mo she got back $2000. It's scary. I remember ou last dog had a few issues and I'd always just grin and bear it whilst wishing we had insurance.

Best thing is CP, because you have signed up you will never need it. Murphy's and all.
