I need a new bag for travelling. The one I have has handle fatigue. It's mainly for plane travel so I can have all I need with me. I've been looking, so thanks for the links ladies. CP and Gert, I love your bags.

Those crumpler bags are very good bags and last forever but the handbags don't have all the anti theft features of some other brands. Their bigger travel bags are  very good though.  I love the funky colours and designs which make them desireable.

This is another that makes good travel bags but the zips are not all lockable.http://hedgren.com/products/type/15-travel

Great bags CP & Gert.  I have the pacsafe one which can't be cut either, also takes the ipad.

Love the pacsafe too Emme. I realised how important the "RFID safe"  is when I accidentally waved my wallet near the scanner at Woolies and it scanned one card I wan't going to use. I got a shock how easy it was. I love that Bagworld too. That is where I bought my Travelon.

I was going to get some protective sleeves for my credit cards but they then won't fit in your wallet and I did not want to buy a new wallet as my wallet is a special gift to me and. I don't need a new one!

First world problems eh?

Gert, I use this for all my cards savings and credit.  It won't fit in a wallet but has its own leather pouch which I keep in the pocket in the bag.  The silver one has the "RFID" so protects all the cards.  It took me a while to get used to it but love it now.  If I get robbed I will hand over the purse , they won't get much  :D :D

I have seen that thing too Emma and I love it but..........will I have separation anxiety if I remove my cards from my wallet? How long did it take for you to get used to it. It is a good solution and no more thick wallet .

I wonder how many women keep their credit cards separate from their wallets? Am I the odd one out that I don't? Maybe it is time for a rethink?

I almost had a heart attack the first time I used it, I opened my purse looking for my credit card and it wasn't in its place I started to panic then suddenly realised where it was.  Took a couple of weeks before I got used to it being in the pocket.  I continually kept checking it but now I never bother and automatically reach inside the pocket and always put it back in its place.  I do however keep my bag zipped up

Oh gosh Gert, I hope you do like it.  Don't do what I did though in the early days, used it at home and put it on the table. I checked my bag saw my purse grabbed the keys and left.  Had to turn around and come back when I realised the card and the holder was sitting at home.  I was not popular.  Now I always check that both the card holder and purse are in my bag and if I used the credit card on line I always put it back inside my bag. At least as you say if you don't like it you can give it to DH.

I carry mine in my wallet. Like Gert my wallet is very special. I may have to think seriously about one of these. I have accidentally scanned my credit card once.

I only have one credit card for emergencies and my debit card. They are both in my wallet with my licence, medicare card and MBF card. I minimilised my wallet.  ;D

My wallet is far too bulky so am willing to try a change in my system.  I got quite a fright when the smarty pants 15 year old check out chick laughed at my dismay when I was removing one credit card from my wallet and accidentally scanned another. It is far to easy to so this with the new technology of being able to just wave and walk away when  the charge is less than $100 . I cannot imagine the problem trying to get the charges reversed if it had been needed. Separating the cards from the wallet is a method worth trying.
