Wise words CP. I will try to do the same.
I tend to look at a lot of cookbooks now and wonder just how many creations can be done from butter, sugar, eggs and flour. ( if I'm looking at Baking books). I'm still a sucker for a good Bread book though.

Congrats Cookie on winning a prize.
When I have to decide if I will buy a cook book, I have a good look and there has to be 4 or more recipes, usually very different to what I already have, before I buy it. Readings have a table of heavily discounted books.  They are 1/2 price.  There are usually a few cook books included. I like to convert recipes so rarely  buy TMX books.
Today I am feeling very smug. I had a message from an Indian lady who lives in Singapore, who used my instructions for making bread rolls in the AF. She said that after searching the Web and trying several recipes, mine was the only one that worked. I have been wondering for some time why there was so much interest in this recipe on my Blog.

Went to the home show in Melbourne today and bought a pair of Woll brand titanium frying pans that were on special.  I have been lusting after good frying pans (with lids that can go into the oven) for a long time, so I can't wait to try them out over the weekend.  Poach / fry / scramble eggs without oils or fats and just wipe clean.  Hope I am not disappointed!

No comment. The pencils are not new. They are about 22 years old.

On the subject of books, and not quite Zumbo, I was in Big W yesterday and saw a book on the shelf called Thermo Struck, it is by Kim McCosker who has all those books, cooking with 4 ingredients.
The book was only $10.00, and written to suit all Thermal cooking appliances.
I was in a hurry and didn't have time to have a good look. For anyone interested, it was in their book department with the cook books. A bit bigger than a paperback novel. The cover was covered in an Orange & cream colour design, unlike you would expect a cookbook to look.

I see this in Dymocks today. $29.99. Rather unbelievable.

I bought that one and a Japanese one a few weeks ago when DD was out of action and bored stiff. She has done some of hers but I haven't as yet.

Where did you get the colouring book Cookie? I have been looking for one for GD as she loves drawing and colouring and she is a bit too old for the childrens ones. Tried Kmart but they only had little ones.

Borders have them Troupie and I noticed on the weekend that Big W have a lot too. As it catches on there seem to be more and more around.

I noticed Target had some too. They are with all the books.

I saw a better homes and gardens colouring book in Woolworths today, didn't check the price though.
