Bought 2 of these in Melbourne. We need 6 but thought we would try 2 to see what we thought when we got them home. They are made in Sweden.

They do look comfy Chookie, are they?  It's almost salad time so I'm sure you'll put your new salad book to good use.

The chairs were bought for comfort. We sat in  lots  until we got ones that would suit and were comfortable.
I made a salad from the new book for dinner last night. Different and nice. Used greens from the garden.

Love the chair :D

I'm just looking at kombucha kits... been advised to drink it to help with the migraines I've been getting the last 6+ months, has definitely been beneficial but so expensive  :o ... so will most likely start brewing my own at home :)

The black chairs are an interesting shape Chookie, but I'm sure will be very comfortable. The other looks comfortable.
Astarra that is rotten about the migraines. I've only ever had them for a couple of years and then they went away. We lived in Broome at the time and I found that going down to the beach and lying in the edge of the ocean beneficial. Not feasible for you though. I think it was something to do with my periods as they came at the same time each month. I hope the kombucha helps. I think Alyce Alexandra has info on that. I have tried it but it wasn't to my taste.

I picked up 4 Weck jars at Aldi yesterday for $12.99. They are 500ml each.

Never tried Kombucha Astarra. It will be interesting what you think of it.

Cookie, I bought some of those jars also. Got one pack of 4 and one of 6. Thought they would be nice with pate and preserves as Christmas gifts.
Astarra, hope it helps. Not nice.
Will order the other 4 chairs today, to go with the 2 we have.

Had an excellent day's shopping yesterday.  We have been talking for ages about getting new lightweight carry-on luggage for when we travel but have never got around to it.  Our current carry on cases weigh 3 - 4 kg each, which doesn't leave much for our gear, so off we went to Myers to buy the new cases.  Dragging DH to the shops was a mean feat in itself - he hates shopping even more than I do!

I didn't realise that Myers had a sale on, and I generally have no luck with sales so I didn't expect much in the way of a favourable outcome ... however ... we found a couple of cases which we liked - they weighed 1.7 kg, a huge improvement.  To make them even more attractive they were $580 RRP, but 40% off for the sale ... then, because I am a Myer One member, we got another 10% off each of them.  But, the really, really good thing was I had cashed in some of my Mastercard points on Myers vouchers and the cases actually cost us nothing!

DH also bought a new pair of work boots - he figured if he must be tortured by going shopping he may as well get everything in the one trip - unfortunately these weren't purchased on sale at Myers, but I figured that we had had such a successful buy there I was happy to go to another shop and get DH's boots at full RRP. :D

Good shopping Marina. We always buy Samsonite cases on sale. The whole family use them. We now have 6 in different sizes. Don’t think we have ever got them for nothing. Well done.
