Marina, would love for you both to come to bread demo.  Pay on day , then if DH can’t come nothing lost.
How about coming to Invermay for lunch after demo ?

I sometimes wish I lived much closer.

That sounds like a definite temptation too hard to resist.  I'll let you know as soon as DH has made a decision - and keep my fingers crossed that we don't have any last minute workshop emergencies on the date.

Now that’s the sort of shopping I’d like Margaret, lucky lady.  Was it for something special or just because he loves you?

What a special man you have Margaret. I mentioned for my 60th that I would like a specific ring. DH said I didn't need baubles, that I had enough (Mum had some beautiful jewellery that Dad had bought for her and I now have) and any other excuse he could think of. DD took him in hand and very begrudgingly he took me to the shop and we bought it. I love it, I wear it where I wore my friendship ring given to me 50 years ago. I now need to work on him for next year for my 70th, but I wont hold my breathe.
Perhaps I should get him to speak to your DH Margaret. That is so beautiful of him, he is special.

Cookie, if you like, I will get Ral to work on him.
I keep telling him I don’t want any more jewellery. I don’t have occasion to wear what I’ve got.

Sounds good Chookie. I must admit I can't wear what I've got either.

It sure is. I wear my rings and often pendants that were Mum’s also bracelets that DH has given me. Mum’s rings are too small for me but fit DD well and I don’t wear brooches very often.
As we were growing up Dad would often sell a specific cow and he would tell Mum she could have the $ to buy a ring. Very sweet of him.
