We are having everything delivered.  Last week Chemist, Woolworths and Country Style Smallgoods.  It takes me ages to do the Woolworths order on line.

I think that's the safest way Chookie.

DH came home with a K.Mart sausage roll maker yesterday. I didn't think I would use it as sausage rolls are so easy to make and I usually make party size. Will see how much use I get out of it.

Might make nice fruit pies or curry puffs.

I don’t know if you remember the old fashioned Matchsticks. Puff pastry with cream and jam and sometimes icing on the top. I saw someone had used a sausage roll maker to make those. Also vanilla slice. They split the pastry.

OMG, I tried to make vanilla slice in the mini pie machine.  Took me ages to clean up the mess.  Never again.  Match sticks sound nice.

I have made vanilla slices using puff pastry cut into squares and filled with a vanilla pudding mix, cream and milk.  Not very healthy but very nice.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

After the pie machine disaster, I made some Vanilla Slice from the recipe on the Forum.
