Love a new cookbook and Kmart prices are reasonable.

I must have a look at the MB one Judy.  I absolutely love her and like most of her (or her nutritionist team's) recipes.  Keeps me on the right path.  :D

Only $19 at K-mart Julie and I went through most of it last night - I think it’s great.  Her recipes are simple and use ingredients we normally use, each recipe has the nutritional values as well which is handy.  Well worth it even if you don’t want to lose any weight as you can always add some higher carb veggies to your plate.

Good to know Judy, I will have a look in Target to see if they have it.  All her recipes are like that Judy, simple with normal ingredients and don't take long to make.  Occasionally I'll make one that I wouldn't again but not often, they seem to suit me. :)

I love MB's recipes too. My favourite is a lentil shepherds pie with a cauliflower and light cream cheese mash on top. I got it out of the Sunday paper years ago.

That one is not in my new book Michele but I found it online so that I can make it for DD1 one of these days. Thanks for mentioning it.

DH sent me to Books for Cooks yesterday to get him a copy of The Sourdough School by Vanessa Kimball.  He has had a quick flick through it and says it is just what he wants .. the 'science' behind sourdough fascinates him so he is really looking forward to getting the time to read the book.

That’s fantastic Marina. I have quite a few cookbooks that I love reading. They have such interesting stuff in them. My brother gifted me this book several weeks ago. It is fairly simplistic but I love it. The few things I’ve made from it are very nice. I’m baking my way through it.

It’s fairly small and not too expensive. About $25 I think. 😀😀😀😀😀

Marina and Cookie, I’m closing my eyes and not looking. ,!!
My SD has been sitting on the kitchen bench for several weeks.  Yesterday I put it in the fridge to have a holiday.
