Are your family 'floppers' maddy?  I've never had a broken toilet in my whole life  :o  You sometimes see people sit down on a chair or lounge - they seem to throw themselves at it.

That's it in a nutshell I think Judy!  THEY ARE FLOPPERS!

Well, DD's bedroom make-over has officially began.
We picked the paint (not my choice  :-))), and I have just bought some wall art in black - she loves that quote.

the one I picked is more scrolly.
I have spotted the perfect side table in Dare gallery, found the perfect lamp and roof chandelier, and found a gorgeous head board/linen and reading chair........shame that the word "budget" is the downer in this process   :(

I thought I posted here that I got 500g vanilla pods from a market in Bali for 200,000 rupeah. Its cheap for here ($23), but I suspect that I made the ladie's week. They were fine to go through customs last night, so I'm really happy.

O.K....so the cooking mojo has left the building, but the shopping mojo is stronger than ever  :P

Just bought the "Anastasia" silver & black quilt set for DD, and found the European pillows on another site.

Now these things are on the list "to get"   ;)

and something similar to this for a bedside table.

DD chose a darker purple colour for the walls, so with all the silver/black/sparkle and a touch of  white.....we should be able to create the perfect teenage retreat for her.
Sadly she does not share my love of all things pink  :(

Your daughter's bedroom will be lovely Maddy.

CP glad the vanilla pods came through customs ok.

I have finely succumbed and bought a piemaker. DH's comment was 'didn't we have one of those?' He'll enjoy the cute pies I'm sure.

Welcome home CP - hope you are refreshed and rested and ready to start posting again.

Maddy, absolutely gorgeous - looks like DD has no intentions of going anywhere in the foreseeable future.

LOL, and why would she.......she scored our 42 inch Lcd tv when we upgraded to an LED, has bursting collection of dvd's, has a better computer than me, and has the best view in the house!
......wish I was her  :P
She's a good girl, so I don't mind  8)

What are we going to do to get your cooking mojo back.

I just spent a small fortune today on a new Liebherr fridge/freezer for our new kitchen.  It has a built in ice-maker and a "biofresh" storage bit for fruit and veg, so they dont need to be stored in plastic bags or containers.   Cant wait for the new kitchen to be finished so we can put all these new appliances into them!
