Thanks Julie, I used to use Scout's recipe all the time but had forgotten it for quick and easy cupcakes.

Hally, your shopping looks good, I love Williams Sonoma.

Maddy I would love to go shopping with you, it would be such fun. I love your purchases.

JulieO Scout's cupcake recipe is a winner. This recipe seems to be based on it.

Williams Sonoma is a fantastic shop, so much to buy, just could have spent hundreds there. Just as well there is a baggage allowance or i would be coming home DIVORCED. Lol, no DH woudnt do That, he loves my cooking too much.

The variety is amazing,  the things they had for halloween was unreal. The starwars tin has 2 sandwich cutters in, have used them on  bread dough and the shapes came out perfectly our of the oven, great for lunch boxes. The french bread rack is great too, used that for making rolls and the bottoms were nice and crunchy.

The great news, they are talking about opening in OZ, yay tat would e great.

Yep, any mini pies with or without the pastry lid, cupcakes, muffins, cheescakes etc.
I bought this cookbook which is designed for the size of these.  The book is fantastic......so will be experimenting lots  ;)

Oh.....I would LOVE to go to Williams Sonoma!!  Green with envy I tell you!  ;D
Did you see the cookie cake pan there Hally?  It's the only place you can get it apparently.
oh.......and I would risk divorce for excess baggage  :P

Maddy I would love to go shopping with you, it would be such fun. I love your purchases.

LOL......you'd need some runners on Cookie  ;) it's like a whirlwind marathon  ;D

Yes i did see the cookie pan, it was a decision between that and the tiered cup cake tin. I did eeny meany miny mo, could not decide. The tiered cup cake tin is pretty heavy.

The store is amazing, you would need to take suitcases with you.

Now how do i justufy a mini pie maker, woud love one. Cant wait to see your experiments.

The City of Geelong would go broke if you ever left it maddy  ;D

Love the Christmas tree decoration - so you, I can see why you had to have them.  Mmm, wonder how you are going to get some pink onto them  ;)

They might end up on my silver table tree, with pink baubles......lots of possibilities.
I actually bought some special "icing" to whip up my own cupcake decorations.....question is, will I get them done for this year or next  ???,

When I met up with a friend from the UK in Arizona in '09, I took her to Sur La Table, which is similar to Williams Sonoma (also went there) and she bought a bunch of stuff impossible to find in her town in Cumbria and more expensive in the cities.
Right down the street was the UPS store, which PACKS as well as ships stuff so we hauled her purchases there and had them shipped to her home (using my name and listing them as gifts).
She left a week later and two days after arriving home, her goodies were delivered.  She said her neighbors were stunned at her bargains.  She said that the things she could have purchased in Manchester or Leeds would have cost her much more just because of travel expenses alone.

Again I feel that I have been a bad influence, especially on Maddy! :'(

I came back from the USA about 2 weeks ago, and Sur la Table was a great store! I too bought home a heap of things I could not get in Australia, I had things stuffed in shoes etc.
