I only paid $29 Judy which was as much of a shock as the $24 for my 2nd tin  :)  :)

The book is lovely Maddy. But I think I have most of the recipes. :D :D
I thought of you when I was in some kitchen shops this morning. I saw an electric whoopee pie maker in pink. :D

I also noticed a macaron kit in the kitchen shop. All you had to do was add water. $39.95. I'll stick to making my own.

You guys and the TMX have broke me (or further domesticated me). I am searching Amazon (de) for something for keeping hot food hot / cold food cold. Not to mention a bread bin, silicon spatula, knife block for Bob! Hello Kitty cake tin for a friend and a couple of other bits (like storage jars). (Though as noted elsewhere I'd spring for a Thermoserver if they sold them here)

I got a copy of the Tenina's Dinner Spinner today as a thank you for helping in the kitchen (at the sink) at her photo shot. Great size book and will fit nicely in my handbag to take shopping with me. It is hinges on the bottom left hand corner. High gloss, should just wipe clean from spills. Also has serving sizes. The Feta Tart looks interesting it has vodka in the batter. Will let you know when I have cooked something out of it.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

you know what...I actually don't know what class I'm booked into...I just bought the ticket without taking note and haven't received any details. For some reason I put the 11 November in my iPhone (I think I had better PM Tenina)

If you can find a restaurant supply store that sells to the public, look for one of the insulated service bowls.   I have several of the Vollrath bowls, different sizes, which keep foods at serving temps for extended periods.
Used in combination with stretchy silicone bowl lids, that do not transfer heat or cold, they hold foods either hot or cold with no additional heat/cold source for a few hours.  Placed inside an insulated carrier - such as a styrofoam ice chest, the time is extended.

I also have a smaller one that I purchased a while back made by ThermaWare.  I think you can contact the company to see if their products are sold near your.  G & S Metal Products

Most are too big for my everyday use - I used them when I was catering.  I have sold a few - I originally had about twenty - but have hung on to some as they are good for potluck parties and such.
