Thankyou Gretchen, Pip is special. We have had quite a journey together over the last 3 years, it has hurt, I've had more sand in my knickers than I care to remember, I have cried and I have laughed and I think he has done all that too...except the sand in his knickers! My main aim at the end of the day is to have fun at what we do. At the moment we are cutting...not very well I might add if you go by our scores the judge gives us as we walk out of the pen, but we come out with a smile on our faces, so in my eyes we are the winners!
A bit off track, but I met a lady recently who had just started riding at 62. I hope that I can still swing my leg over at 62! And at 92 while I am sitting in my rocking chair I want to be able to tell my great grand kids all the things I did when "I was a girl on a spotty horse..."
Now with our own wheels (and beds to boot!) we'll be off for more adventures...
(hubby and kids permitting of course!!)

Pip looks wonderful Nikkit. Do any of your children ride? Where did you head off to this weekend?
I rode until I was about 23 but only on the farm, no dressage or jumping for me.
I guess you can reverse the horse float, congraulations on that.

Just got back from shopping. Apart from groceries I bought:
2 pizza makers $29 each at Coles (1 is for a friends birthday)
3 bamboo chopping boards and stand $10 at Coles
A pizza lifter $20 Robins Kitchens
Ah bra at Big W
A new pair of shoes

That will teach DH to let my be child free on a Saturday ;@)

Sounds like you had fun dizzygirl!

I bought one of these today:

I'd like to try sous vide in the TMX. Just for quicker cooking things like salmon.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

My Coles never have anything so interesting.

I am interested in what you think of the Ah bra. Anyone else got one?

The Ahh Bra is only good for home. As I am big busted I find there isn't enough support. My normal bras are $80 and I want them to last so the Ahh Bra was bought for home use when nobody sees me.

Very comfortable doesn't feel like I have a bra on. My friend who is big busted too, wears 2 at once and said she good support then. You can get Di liar ones for $8 at dollars and sense too. Will have a look at theirs next time I am near a store.

Thankyou! Pip will do anything for a carrot and if there's 3 in my pocket and I only give him 2 he knows and mugs me til the last one is found :).

Pip looks wonderful Nikkit. Do any of your children ride? Where did you head off to this weekend?

No my kids don't ride - which is good and bad. Would love them too, but then I'd have to share!
Heading off again thismorning to Gingin (WA), had a blast yesterday with my first run out going absolutley brilliant, first 2 cows were awesome, we worked them really well...til I cut out the 3rd cow and he slipped back into the mob in front of me and we lost it :(. So our score was not good, but I was really happy with Pip. Second run was just plain bad, but came out with a smile anyway!
No dressage or English riding for me, there's nothing to hold onto in those saddles (Incontinence pads we often call them!) I have a good western saddle ... but have been known to be ejected on the odd occasion!
And yes I can reverse the float, but will be doing a bit more practise here at home where no-one can see!
