Trying to shop but no luck!  I have been looking for a small rectangular glass or Pyrex or stoneware/ceramic dish with a lid which would be big enough for lasagne for two (or similar size of meal). Circular and oval ones by the dozen but nothing that suits square food like pasta sheets.  No such item seems to exist! There are plenty without lids, or with plastic lids, but I want something which can go in an oven or stovetop with the lid. Le Crueset used to have them but not any more. I can't imagine I'm the only person in the world who would like a dish like this.....

Bonsai, I was shopping in an outlet shopping mall today and they had a shop that had pyrex and corningware in it - I am sure they had something there like you are looking for.  Unfortunately, it is a little too far away for me to go back to check, but maybe google the two manufacturers and see what they have.

In the interim, I purchased a new quilt cover and a dressing gown.  Not like me to be buying so much, but lots of our things are getting old and shabby now so I am forcing myself to start slowly replacing them ... it's hard for me because I really do hate shopping, it just seems like a modern form of torture!

I bought a new nightie at Myer this morning. There is very little left of my current winter one. I honestly don't think it will last to Hobart. So I invested. I also bought 3 glass containers for DD's T2 stuff to go in. If she likes them I will get some more. $10 for 3 at House this morning.

I love those py's Gert. It needs to be pretty cool to wear them. I haven't got to that stage this winter, although it may be here this week.

I bought a new dishwasher that was delivered today, a F & P 2 drawer. Just have to wait for DH to install it for me, I can't as it needs attaching to the side walls. Free delivery and they took the packaging and old dishwasher away.
Next on the list is a new washing machine, I'm looking at a washer dryer combo, does anyone have one?
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

That's a strong statement Uni.

Jeninwa my brother has one of those F & P dishwashers. He loves it. I didn't know you could get a washer dryer combo. I must be old fashioned. I very rarely use my dryer anyway.
