Thanks. I'll have a look at it next time I'm out.

Nice buy Denise, I've always wanted one of those for growing herbs.  :)

DH, surprised me with an airfryer today or should I say he bought it for himself as I haven't wanted one and DH has always wanted one. It isn't a Phillips, it's a Kambrook and doesn't have a large capacity but I don't think we will use it much anyway. DH is trying to convince me it would be good for the van but there is no way we will have the space for that. It was much less expensive than the Phillips. I don't think the forum rules allow me to say what I paid for it but it was under $150.
Will see how it goes. Off to read the airfryer thread now.  ;D

I'm sure you will use it more than you expect Michele, heating pastry items or crisping up a par microwaved cooked jacket potato is far quicker than turning on the oven.

Mich, the fence I'm sitting on regarding air fryers is going to give way one of these days - not sure it can take my weight too much longer ;D ;D   e very interested to hear your impressions.

Will keep you posted G.F., I'm still thinking the toaster oven I bought 1 year ago is brilliant. It's on the bench in the laundry, has a good capacity, doesn't heat the house up, it's probably not as fast as an airfryer. I suppose time will tell and I will be interested to see how it stacks up against the Phillips.

Mich I have the same airfryer, I use it quiet a lot , love doing chips in it , I rinse the chips with water then cook them in the microwave in a covered dish , drain them let them dry a bit sprinkle them with a little oil , shake and cook on 200 for 30 mins shaking occasionally, delicious. Crispy outside soft and yummy inside.   I found a Bunt tin at Aldi that fits in but haven't made a cake yet.  Enjoy ..

Absolutely,  I don't want to have to find space for this. At present it is on the laundry bench. It is much smaller than the Phillips, which is a bonus. I just don't want the stuff.

G.F. get a toaster oven. It cooks quicker than a regular oven - maybe not as quick as an airfryer. I use very little oil as I spray my food with an oil dispenser. I've got a Kambrook toaster oven and love it. Cheaper, I paid $139 for mine a year ago.

Mich I'm sure the AF will be good. If I didn't already have one I would buy a aka brook. I must admit we use ours quite a lot. DH loves peeling lots of Vegies, cutting them up into large pieces, putting them in a plastic bag and adding spices and shaking them round. He usually adds about 2 teaspoons of EVOO too. He then air fries them.

I use my Af far more and more and more than I ever thought I would. So easy just for two and so fast and easy to clean .
