That's a lovely lamp Chookie. Judy you have some amazing shape pots there. What are you planning to put in them? All succulents?

Yes probably cookie, they will fill up all the empty areas where the aloes were and the plants won't get out of control in the pots.  I can break off bits and pieces all around my front garden to put in the pots but I might have to buy some lower clumping type varieties for the two big tub like containers.

I got deeply into self torture yesterday and went out to buy some new clothes  :o  My colleague at work threatened me with retribution if I came back empty handed (which I usually do as I hate clothes shopping).  As it happened, I actually managed to find a couple of pairs of trousers which I liked - well, not EXACTLY  a couple of pairs - just one pair that 'did the job' so I purchased a second pair to save me having to shop again any time soon!!!  This must have been about the 6th time I had gone out to buy trousers so I guess it could be called a wildly successful excursion for me  ;D

Marina, you always look terrific so I am amazed that you hate shopping. I love shopping but don't often get a chance, especially for clothes. Yesterday I bought a pair of shoes on sale. Most impractical, pale pinky fawn colour with cut outs.

I'm pleased that you found something Marina.
Chookie your new shoes sound beautiful.

I ran amok here in Carnarvon. They have a lovely shop that sells jams, chutneys and fruit leather from their own fruits. While we were there we both had a magnificent Mango Smoothie.

It's good to be impractical now and then Chookie, glad you went for those shoes.

Cookie, those goodies from Carnarvon look and sound wonderful.
