I have now done all my shopping for both gifts and food. After yesterday I'm not going anywhere near a shop until we run out of something important, which will not happen for at least 5 or 6 days all going well. The traffic near the shopping centres here is wicked and the supermarkets are ridiculously busy. Off to Bikram yoga this arvo and maybe I'll treat myself to a new yoga mat for Christmas.

Oh Chookie have you hurt it?
Well done Gayle. Yesterday I went and got all the fruit and veggies I needed and it was a mad house. This morning DD and I went to a Westfield shopping centre and it was surprisingly un busy! Perhaps after we left it may have got busy.

Shopping all done here as well!  Was surprised when I went out this morning as not many people out.

Chookie, I hope your ankle gets better soon.

Not good timing Chookie, take it easy if you can.  I think we need a group hug with this one!  Xx

Sorry to hear about your ankle Chookie.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Sorry to hear about your ankle Chookie.
Thanks Mab. Much better. Heavily strapped and pain killers have helped.
I am shopped out.Don’t  want to go shopping for anything for ages. This includes food.

They were my thoughts until I received a heap of gift cards this morning. One of my family is a little bit naughty and gave me my birthday gift ( April) with my Christmas gift.  Now I have twice the gift cards to use. I love them.

Chookie, hope you are on the mend. We went to Harbour Town factory outlets yesterday, what a very over crowded, busy place that was. Picked up a pr of shoes (black, leather slip ons for $34) We didn't last long - step daughter doesn't do well in crowds - I thought it would be mum that didn't cope but she was in her element.

Thanks for of well wishes, Michele. Nearly better.
Don’t like the crowds either, also trying to stay away from the shops.  That does sound like a good buy with the shoes.

I hope your ankle is back in good working order Chookie.
Sounds like fun times ahead for you Cookie.
Well done Michele. A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes or handbags. ;D
I have just treated myself to some of my favourite fragrance - Sisley's eau de campagne - at 30% off. That was the first time I've seen it on sale! I've also ordered a Tmx slide and a bread knife with a wooden guide from the Alice Alexandra shop.
