Hell, Gert. If those conditions applied here, I would never get out of bed.  However it is very cold here at the moment and I do envy you your 27. To me, that is a perfect Summer temperature.

I DO NOT GET OUT IF BED IF IT IS LESS THAN 20 IN MY BEDROOM! Thankfully it has not been less than 20 in a year! 27 with clear skies today but there is a threat of you lot sending the cold up here. Shame on you. LOL!

It's nice to share Gert!!! I couldn't survive in maximums of 9 or so. I feel i am in a fridge at anything under 16. I would definitely need an electric blanket. Our bedroom is usually around 14 on a cold morning. Although I must admit ;when I open the curtains in the morning it is still very dark.

I certainly don’t mind cold weather. Th nuisance aspect is clothing. We have winter clothes and summer clothes. Twice a year we swap over.  I have large plastic crates and just pack everything in. Good opportunity to discard some things.  It certainly would be easier living in a more moderate climate.

😀😀😀😀😀
I basically have the same clothing all year. In the cooler weather I may have a jumper/cardigan or jacket. Even in winter I don’t wear a jumper into large shopping centres as I get hot. At home I wear one as I can get cold at anytime that it rains. I’m weird.  😀😀

What are you going to make first cookie - something sweet or savoury?

I thought I might wilt some spinach and combine it with feta and try that.for lunch tomorrow. I’ll use puff pastry. I want to get some spring roll pastry and try in it too.

Cookie, I find this little machine very handy as you don’t have to fiddle cutting circles from the pastry.  I recently made some Cauli cheese ones for GD.
Ordered 2 SS food warmers from Alyce and  some liquid smoke.  I add a few drops of this to the pea and ham soup.

Liquid ske sounds like a lot of fun.

Cookie, the liquid smoke is very nice.  I have never seen it for sale except on Alice’s shop.  It lasts for ages.

Got my SS warmers from Alyce today.  Think they will be handy when we have visitors.

I get liquid smoke at Vic Market and find that you have to be very careful with it as it is very strong.

Marina, how true. I add 3 drops to a large SC of soup. Where do you buy it at the market?
